Outdoor ceremony on a red-carpeted stage. A figure seated on a gold-and-cream throne decorated with large garlands of yellow, orange, red and purple flowers wears saffron-orange robes, a golden crown and a rudraksha-style necklace, raising one hand in blessing. Before the throne, a row of devotees sits on red mats: a man in white, women in green, yellow and white saris, and a girl in white. A man in orange robes at right holds a tiered brass lamp of lit wicks, an aarti offering, toward the group. Trees, stage lights and a crowd behind a railing are visible in the background.2011-12-20Outdoor ceremony with a seated man in an orange saffron robe and a long gold-beaded garland, sitting on a gold-and-cream throne decorated with yellow, red and purple flower garlands and a gold lion-head armrest. He has long swept-back dark hair and gold bangles, and is smiling as he looks to his right. In front of him, devotees sit on the ground, many in orange and pink saris, with some pressing palms together in namaskar. Brass thalis with red apples, flowers, coconuts and oil lamps sit on a low gold tray. A man in white shirt and dark trousers stands nearby holding a small child. Stage lights, speakers and a temporary fence frame the open-air site with trees behind. Swamiji (probable): the robed figure on the throne shows the long hair, saffron robe and ornate gold garland cues.2011-12-20January 13 20152015-01-13July 15 20112011-07-15Outdoor photo of a figure seated on a gold-carved throne draped with bright marigold and rose garlands in yellow, red, purple and white. The seated figure wears an orange-saffron robe, a gold crown, gold necklaces and armbands, and raises one hand in blessing; the figure is probable Swamiji by the saffron robe, crown, ornate gold jewellery and the throne setting, though the appearance is only partly visible. Around the throne, a crowd of women in white, green and red saris and men in white shirts sit at low tables or kneel with brass plates and cups, some with hands pressed together in devotion. Wooden fencing, a white cooling unit, light stands and trees stand behind them under open sky.2011-12-20A seated figure in saffron-orange robes sits on a gilded throne with a golden canopy above, a thick garland of marigolds and roses draped across the shoulders and chest, hands pressed together in namaste. Devotees in saris kneel and sit before the throne with palms joined: a woman in white and gold, one in orange, one in red and yellow, and an older woman in orange with a silver-grey bun. Flower arrangements in red and pink flank the dais, silver oil lamps stand at each side, and a white tent ceiling and draped white fabric frame the setting.2011-07-15A golden ornate throne stands at the centre of a stage, backed by a heart-shaped arrangement of flower garlands in red, yellow, purple, white and orange. A person seated on the throne wears a gold crown, a gold necklace and mala, and holds a silver ceremonial staff in one hand while raising the other in blessing. Seated devotees in white and red garments, a man in an orange shawl, and others face the throne with hands folded; oil lamps burn in the foreground. Probable Swamiji (probable) is seated on the golden throne with a crown and gold necklace, raising a hand in blessing before seated devotees.2015-01-13January 13 20152015-01-13 +1 copiesJanuary 03 20162016-01-03July 03 20122012-07-03January 13 20152015-01-13January 13 20152015-01-13
