June 22 20082008-06-22A large seated audience of men in white shirts and white dhotis fills a whitewashed hall at AadiKailaasa, Bengaluru, many wearing white lanyards with ID badges and some with rudraksha-style beaded necklaces. Rows of attendees sit cross-legged on the floor facing a raised platform at the upper right, where a figure in saffron-coloured clothing stands near a display of orange and yellow banners. Bookshelves stocked with books and DVDs stand along the back wall beneath a window. Several people stand near the left side of the hall. The scene reads as a satsang or darshan session with delegates seated in orderly rows, though the platform figure is too small and distant to identify with confidence.2008-06-22June 22 20082008-06-22June 22 20082008-06-22A seated crowd fills a white-walled hall at an indoor session. Behind them rows of seated participants extend back toward the stage. Two men near the top of the rear area stand or sit upright above the crowd. A purple banner on the left wall shows a printed portrait with a caption, and yellow-and-blue hanging banners decorate the upper wall. A tripod-mounted camera stands at the left edge.2008-06-22A large crowd of seated participants fills a tented hall, most wearing white headbands tied over their eyes and white or pale shirts, with some women in colourful saris in yellow, purple and green. Rows of people extend to the back of the hall beneath blue-and-white canopy poles. Behind them a white backdrop displays framed photographs and printed panels, and banners hang at the upper left. Many wear white shirts, with a few in light blue, green, and red-orange shirts. Some have lanyard badges around their necks. Behind them at the far end, colourful hanging tassel decorations line the ceiling, and a golden figure and a deity murti stand near an orange-draped altar area.
