A seated group of devotees in white ritual clothing sits on colourful striped mats during a gathering. In the centre, a person in orange robes with rudraksha malas and gold ornaments holds a grey stone-like object and places another on the mat, while a shaved-headed man in an orange-and-white outfit behind them also holds a grey object. Brass boxes and a small tray lie on the mats, and others in white with orange shawls sit around, one writing on paper.

A large hall where many men sit cross-legged on the floor in rows, wearing saffron-orange robes and some in white dhotis, with white and orange vibhuti marks on their foreheads. In the foreground a bald-headed man in orange robes and a gold chain sits before a small silver ritual tray with brass bowls and oil lamps, his hands joined as he speaks or chants, while a man in orange with a rudraksha mala holds an open book. Rows of devotees behind them, including some in white and black clothes, sit on mats. Red curtains and a white door are in the background. A seated group of men performs a ritual in an ashram hall. In the foreground, a man with a greying beard and a gold-beaded necklace sits with palms pressed together, wearing a saffron garment with a maroon border. Beside him, another saffron-clad man with a shaved head and gold necklace extends his hand over a brass plate of offerings. Behind them, several saffron-robed men sit on orange mats, and further back, men in white dhotis and white shawls with rudraksha malas and sandalwood marks sit in rows. Brass plates with flowers, fruit, kumkum and brass lamps and vessels sit on the mats, and an open book rests on the floor. This appears to be a padapuja-style puja setting.
