Two painted deity murtis stand at the rear, one wearing an orange turban and the other a tall crown with a purple sari-like garment. In the foreground a seated figure in an orange robe with long dark curly hair and white flower garlands sits before a small orange-draped idol and an offering of oil lamps and flowers. A yellow backdrop with blue clouds frames the scene. The figure's appearance is consistent with a presentation of a saffron-robed sannyasi, but the face and features are not clearly visible, so identity is uncertain.2008-01-01A photograph of a temple scene in which a man with long, curly dark hair and a bright smile, wearing an orange-saffron robe and with white ash marks on his arms, raises a bundle of grass or whisk above a row of colourful deity murtis. The murtis are dressed in yellow and gold garments with ornate crowns and garlands. Beside him, another person in orange robes stands, and a devotee in orange kneels at the left with hands folded. A brass vessel and a small decorated basket sit at the lower left. The setting appears to be a plain, pale temple wall with a red flower offering at the base.2007-11-09Photo 11686496 +1 copiesDecember 26 20082008-12-26 +1 copies
