A photograph of a temple ritual inside a tent-covered hall. Two priests stand at left: one in white dhoti with bare chest and rudraksha mala holds a silver bowl, while the other wears an orange-red turban and gold-bordered dhoti and offers flowers toward an altar. At right, a large deity murti is heavily draped in yellow and orange marigold garlands, with a gold crown bearing a crescent and rows of gold ornaments. Brass oil lamps, a decorated kalasha-like vessel and a plate of flowers sit on a blue-draped table, with a small ornate yellow-and-red banner in the centre. Several seated devotees in white are visible in the background.

Ritual scene at a temple: a bare-chested priest in a yellow shawl, purple dhoti and rudraksha malas pours liquid from a silver vessel over a golden-orange cloth-wrapped object on a silver stand, decorated with white jasmine and red flower garlands. Beside him a man with a tall, swept-back dark hairstyle wears a red-brown garment and gold ornaments, hands folded in prayer. To the right, a figure in orange robes and rudraksha beads holds folded hands near smoke or incense, and a brass lamp stands nearby. Behind them, a gold-and-red backdrop with marigold garlands and banana leaves frames the ceremony, with white sacred ash marks on foreheads and arms.

A homa ritual at an outdoor pavilion with smoke rising through the air. A bare-chested priest in a white dhoti with a yellow border and a pink head cloth raises a small vessel toward a decorated altar of garlands in white, yellow and red, with brass plates behind it. Two lion figures and small deity murti sit on the altar base. A second priest in a red-gold dhoti stands at right, and a younger assistant in white with a rudraksha mala stands at left. Seated devotees in white and red shawls line the left side, and a brass kalasha and lamps sit on the floor.

A bare-chested man in a white dhoti on the left pours or sprinkles something from a small bowl. In the centre a man in a white shirt and orange turban sits near a brass tray and offerings. On the right, a bare-chested man with long dreadlocked hair, rudraksha malas and a yellow and red flower garland holds his hands together over the tray. A grey-haired woman is in the lower left, and a tree stands at right.

A temple ritual outdoors under a canopy. A bare-chested priest in white dhoti with a gold border, wearing a pink-and-red turban and a rudraksha mala, holds a silver fire vessel and pours liquid over a deity murti decorated with yellow and white flower garlands. Beside him, a second priest in white holds a plate of white flowers. Brass oil lamps stand at left, a lion-shaped finial on one lamp. Smoke rises from a brick fire pit with offerings in front. Ornate gold-toned halo-shaped ornaments flank the shrine, and an orange and red embroidered banner hangs on the right. Seated devotees in white with folded hands watch at left, and a cameraman stands behind.

Ritual scene in a temple hall with a homa fire pit at lower left, filled with wooden logs and offerings. A priest with a red headcloth and bare upper body, wearing a green-and-orange cloth, extends his arm toward the fire. Behind him a seated attendant in white dhoti with a beaded necklace sits on a striped mat. On the right a priest in white dhoti and gold-trimmed shawl sits beside a red-draped seat. Elaborately garlanded deity murtis with yellow and red flower garlands stand on a raised red throne, and a brass lamp stands at right. A golden hooded-cobra backdrop frames a ganesha murti at left. Several people are visible in the scene, and the event is a puja with fire offering.

Outdoor temple shrine with a deity murti decorated with marigold and mixed flower garlands, set beneath an ornate golden arch. In the foreground a man in orange robes kneels before a smoking fire pit, while another in orange with a long garland and an orange-saffron headcloth stands beside an ornate brass oil lamp (deepa) and offering tray. A third figure in white ritual dress stands at the left edge. Smoke drifts across the scene, with green trees behind and a metal kalasha-style vessel in the foreground. Appearance of the standing figure in orange with white beard is not clearly established as a person.

A dense crowd of devotees stands in thick white smoke or incense haze inside a tent-like pavilion. Several men in saffron, orange and red-and-yellow shawls and wraps stand with their backs to the camera, some with raised hands. On the right, a man in white shirt and a man with a tilak on his forehead join palms in prayer. Behind them a richly decorated palanquin or ratha-like shrine is covered in yellow marigold garlands, with a fringed canopy overhead, and a deity murti is partly visible within the garlands. The scene suggests a procession or puja at a ceremonial stand.
