Many onlookers fill the background.2007-01-12Outdoor procession on a dirt road beside palm trees: men in cream and white kurta-dhoti pulling ropes attached to a decorated golden ratha/chariot with a canopy and red-orange fringe. A person in a long-haired, swept-back hairstyle wears an orange-red sleeveless garment and a large white and pink flower garland, reaching up to grip the pole. Around them a crowd of men in white shirts and dhotis, several with orange-trimmed shirts and rudraksha-style necklaces, watch, clap and raise hands. A man in a white shirt holds a camera, and women in saris and salwar kameez stand at the edges. Coconut palms and a clear sky frame the scene.2009-07-10July 02 20142014-07-02December 22 20102010-12-22December 25 20072007-12-25
