Two men in orange-red dhoti-style garments with gold borders stand before it. The taller man on the left, with long hair and rudraksha malas on his head, neck and arm, stands with his hands clasped in front of him. The shirtless man beside him, with a shaved head and a rudraksha mala, bends forward to place offerings on a tray. A brass oil lamp, a silver vessel of pink petals and small offering cups sit on the golden altar stand. The scene reads as a puja at the shrine.2012-05-13 +2 copiesApril 11 20122012-04-11 +1 copiesMay 14 20122012-05-14August 17 20122012-08-17 +1 copiesMay 12 20122012-05-12 +1 copiesMay 12 20122012-05-12May 13 20122012-05-13 +2 copiesPhotograph of an abhishekam at a temple shrine. A man in a saffron-orange cloth draped over his head and shoulders, wearing a gold-coloured garland of beads, pours liquid from a brass pot over a white marble seated figure. Behind him, another man in orange robes pours from a brass vessel, and a third bearded man in orange holds a small brass pot at the right edge. Flower petals and marigolds are scattered on the stone base, and a small copper pyramid-shaped object sits near the marble figure. A dark stone yoni-style base and a red-draped deity murti appear at the left.2010-01-02 +1 copies
