Devotees stand in a line before a richly decorated deity murti (a goddess form with a golden crown and jewelled ornaments) framed by garlands of white flowers and bands of purple, yellow and red blossoms. In the foreground a man with grey hair in a white short-sleeved shirt and rudraksha mala presses his palms together in anjali. Beside him a young man in a cream kurta with a rudraksha mala stands with eyes closed, followed by a bearded man in a white kurta and a grey-haired man in a beige kurta with folded hands. Two more men on the right wear an orange kurta and a green striped shirt. A brass oil lamp sits at the lower left. Scene suggests a temple puja setting.2018-04-25April 30 20152015-04-30July 13 20152015-07-13October 18 20152015-10-18July 13 20152015-07-13Photograph of a stage event with a seated figure on an ornate floral-decorated throne-palanquin, wearing a gold-brown robe and orange-gold turban, with red and white garlands. Five standing men in white ritual clothing with yellow and red garlands surround the throne; the central man wears a red-and-gold shawl. Behind them hangs a large printed backdrop of a stone temple pavilion with pillars and greenery, and the stage has red curtains and tall decorative poles. Flower petals are scattered on the floor. The seated figure's appearance is uncertain, so identity is not established.2006-12-29July 13 20152015-07-13Five men stand close together before a red backdrop and a gold-framed deity murti, with a golden decorated altar in the foreground. The central figure wears a saffron-orange turban and saffron-orange robe, with a long multi-strand garland of yellow marigolds, white jasmine and red flowers, and gold bangles; he smiles with hands clasped at his waist. The men flanking him wear bare chests or white dhotis; the man second from left wears a saffron-striped white shawl and a rudraksha mala, and the men on the right wear white dhotis with gold-bordered silk, bangles and sacred thread.2015-07-13A photograph inside a temple hall showing a procession with a decorated palanquin carrying a seated deity murti draped in white and garlanded with red and pink flowers. Several men in orange and saffron robes with gold borders stand beside and behind the palanquin, some holding ritual staffs. The man in the centre wears a gold-trimmed orange shawl, gold necklaces and a headband, and holds a silver staff. A bearded man on the right in orange with rudraksha beads joins his palms in greeting. Men in white dhotis and shawls stand nearby, and a shirtless man at left holds his hands together. Ceremonial red and gold cloth hangs overhead and a bell is visible at top right. A figure at the centre wears saffron with gold necklaces and a crown-like headpiece, and appears to be carrying a silver staff; the appearance of this figure does not clearly match the page's a person claim, so identity is unsure.2012-06-05A crowded photograph inside a temple corridor lined with metal grilles and fluorescent tubes, with marigold garlands in orange, yellow, purple and white strung along the top. A younger man with long dark swept-back hair, a saffron robe and a gold chain of beads and rudraksha stands at the centre, looking upward with an open-mouthed expression. Beside him an older bearded man in a saffron robe with a gold necklace gestures with his hand, while a bearded man in an orange garment holds a white cloth. An elderly man in a white shirt with a red-and-white garland, a gold-bordered shawl and a red tilak stands at left, and a man with a red tilak and rudraksha beads stands at right. The central younger figure shows distinctive long hair, saffron clothing and a rudraksha-and-gold necklace, a person candidate, though the appearance is only moderately clear.2006-12-04June 05 20122012-06-05Photograph inside a temple hall during a procession-style ritual. A decorated palanquin-like golden platform carries a silver-clad deity murti garlanded with pink and red flowers beneath an ornate canopy. Several men in saffron and orange robes stand beside it; one in the center wears a red-brown shawl, rudraksha-style beads and a floral garland, another holds folded hands, and a bare-headed man in orange with a garland stands at the right. A white-clad priest and onlookers in white and cream clothing stand behind. Garlands drape the scene and a woman in a teal sari is at the lower right edge.2012-06-05
