A temple shrine scene during Navaratri with a standing priest in orange garments performing worship before a large deity murti. A seated goddess murti wears a gold crown, red and maroon sari, garlands of pink and white flowers, and a gold necklace, holding a trident-like emblem and a lotus-shaped hand. Beside it stands a dark black linga on a golden peetha, with a brass oil lamp in the foreground. To the left, a standing female murti in blue and green garments with a jeweled headdress also wears garlands. Gold arches and deep red curtains frame the shrine. Only a few partially visible devotees appear at the bottom edge, one wearing a red and white headcloth, and a small figure is visible near the left base.2017-09-26Inside a temple shrine with gold-painted arches and a red curtain, a figure in orange robes with bare upper body and a rudraksha mala performs worship before a black stone Shivalinga on a black pedestal. The central deity murti is Shiva and Parvati seated together, adorned with garlands of white flowers and green-and-white beads. A woman in an orange sari with a green blouse stands at the left, bending over the shrine with a small offering. Two standing figures flank the central murti: a bearded sage-like statue in red robes and an orange turban with yellow marigold garland on the right, and a figure with a tall white crown and red-and-green garlands on the left. A small brass standing figure and a red-clad figure stand on the altar, with brass lamps and an orange-and-gold drape at right.2017-08-25September 21 20172017-09-21 +1 copiesA young man in white dhoti and shawl with gold borders stands at a black stone lingam on a dark pedestal, pouring from a small vessel held in his right hand while his left hand touches the lingam. Behind him, golden statues of deities sit under a gilded arch with yellow drapery: a central figure in a red and gold turban and bejewelled necklaces, a female figure in magenta with black hair and a flower, and a figure with a white turban at left. A statue at right wears a tiger-striped garment with folded hands. Garlands of orange and white flowers adorn the figures. The scene appears to be a temple abhishekam, and no living person other than the young man is visible.2015-08-28May 19 20132013-05-19June 22 20132013-06-22 +1 copies
