In the foreground, several women wear rust-red and orange saris with rudraksha malas, sacred ash marks on their foreheads, and hold brass oil lamps or cups. Behind them, many more participants in orange and red garments sit in rows, some holding lit diyas. A woman in a cream sari with a rudraksha mala stands out among them. Small offering plates with flowers and cloth mats are arranged on the floor. No a person candidate is visibly present, so the scene shows devotees performing an aarti-style lamp ritual.2014-06-03A large indoor group of devotees performs aarti with brass oil lamps in a hall with red curtains and white walls.
