He wears a gold crown and a long gold necklace, with hands pressed together in namaste. Before the throne, a bald man in orange robes kneels with palms joined in reverence, and a woman in orange sits to the right with another woman behind her. Attendants in orange stand at the left and right edges holding a silver trident and a gold staff. Ornate gold lion-head armrests flank the throne, and the stage is draped in red with gold fringe and flower strands. Five people are visible in total.2010-01-01A seated man in a golden ornate throne with red cushions wears an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with a white flower garland and yellow-orange trim, bare-chested with a sandal-marked forehead and long swept-back hair, his feet resting on a red cushion. Around him sit devotees on a patterned red carpet: a woman in white with a blonde braid, an Asian woman in a white jacket and blue trousers, women in orange-red saris wearing rudraksha malas, and a shaved-headed man in saffron. Brass bowls with flower petals sit on the floor in front, and a speaker and wall sconces are behind them. Several people are seen from behind in the foreground.2014-01-11April 23 20172017-04-23 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold throne with a gold lion-head armrest and tiger-striped cushion, wearing a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, a red, white and black floral garland, gold necklaces and bangles. A brass lamp and hanging bells stand beside the throne. Before him, a woman in a pink sari and gold jewellery sits with hands clasped near a gold tray holding silver bowls of flowers and offerings. A man in white shirt sits behind the tray, and two more women sit to the right, one in a pale sari and one in an orange sari. The seated figure appears to be a person in saffron robes with distinctive garland and ornaments, but the appearance is only partly clear, so identity is uncertain. The scene suggests a puja or ceremonial offering in a gold-decorated room with a wooden door.2013-09-16
