Three central figures stand together: on the left a bearded man with bare chest, a pink-magenta shawl, white dhoti and a white forehead mark holds a lit oil lamp aarti; in the centre a long-haired man in an orange-saffron robe with gold border, layered beaded necklaces and a gold pendant, reaches toward the lamp; on the right a man with a shaved head, white forehead marks, a red shawl over a red-orange dhoti and a rudraksha mala gestures with his hand. Other people in white dhotis and orange or yellow shawls, and uniformed police, stand behind. Ornate temple pillars and painted panels frame the scene.

Inside a temple-like hall with blue walls, a yellow pillar, and a hanging rudraksha garland above, a man with long dreadlocked hair and a full beard, wearing a rust-red shawl over his shoulders and a rudraksha bead band on his upper arm, smiles and reaches toward an older bald man in an orange-red robe who holds a purple cloth. Behind them, two younger men in orange-saffron dhotis, one with bare chest and beaded necklaces and white tripundra markings, stand near a wooden shelf. An older man in a white shirt and gold wristwatch stands at the right edge. Rudraksha mala beads drape overhead. a person candidate with dreadlocks and rudraksha adornments is present; appearance-based only.

Inside a marble-floored temple hall with ornate golden arches and carved wooden doors, a bearded man in saffron-orange and rust-red robes walks forward wearing white and pink flower garlands and a red tilak on his forehead. Behind him, several men in rust-red and maroon dhotis and shawls, some wearing garlands, walk through the hall. A worshipper in white clothes stands at the right edge beside brass railings. The bearded man has long swept-back hair and a distinctive orange shawl over his robe, a cue consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) figure, while the surrounding men are devotees and sannyasis.
