A tall fire rises from a square homa fire pit in a dark room, with orange flames licking upward. A hand in a red-toned sleeve holds a long wooden-handled ladle or spoon over the flames, offering into the fire. A brass kalasha-style bowl sits at the lower left of the pit, and a brass oil lamp with a lit wick stands in the background at left. The scene is lit almost entirely by the fire.

A photograph of a square stone homa fire pit at night, with bright orange flames rising from burning wood and offerings. Marigold garlands in yellow and orange line the pit's white stone rim. Behind the rim, a brass vessel and a small oil lamp sit near the edge, and a person in white clothing is partly visible at the top of the frame. The fire pit suggests a homa (fire ritual) with floral offerings. No identifiable person's face is shown, and the visible people are only partly in view.
