In the foreground a young shirtless man in a white vest and blue-and-green checked lungi crouches on a small wooden block, hammering or chiselling a piece of stone or metal held on a dark cloth. Scattered tools, rubble, sacks, a blue gas cylinder and plastic chairs surround him. Behind him, a man in a white dhoti and white shirt sits in a plastic chair beneath a thatched shelter with bamboo matting. The scene reflects ashram construction work.2009-09-22Two men sit cross-legged on a bare concrete floor carving small white figures with hand tools. The man on the left wears a white shirt and dark dhoti-style lungi and strikes a chisel with a mallet. The man on the right wears a white-and-brown checked short-sleeved shirt and holds a small hammer and pointed tool while working on a pale figure resting on a wooden block beside his foot. Wood shavings and scattered chisels lie around them, with a pink mat and a blue-handled tool at left and clothes hanging on a white wall behind.2013-06-26June 26 20132013-06-26July 05 20132013-07-05June 23 20132013-06-23
