Outdoor guru puja beneath a large banyan tree with sprawling aerial roots. On the left, a row of about ten people in saffron-orange robes kneel with palms joined in anjali, with brass pots, lamps and bell-metal vessels placed before them and orange-tipped bamboo poles standing upright. In the centre a figure in orange robes sits cross-legged on a mat facing the shrine. At right, a younger man in orange sits on a blue mat with hands joined before an offering tray with lamps and a kalasha. The shrine holds a black deity murti of Shiva-form draped in orange cloth and garlanded with marigold and multicoloured flower strands, set on a red-draped stone platform beside a carved stone arch, with a shivalinga-like pillar nearby.

Outdoor photo beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. At center, a dark stone deity murti seated on a black base is draped in orange cloth and garlanded with marigolds. In front, a large mound of orange-red sindoor-coated stones or lingams is set in a black snake-shaped border with a black serpent head. Four people stand at left in front of the shrine: a bare-chested man in an orange dhoti and shawl with a rudraksha mala, two men in white dhotis with folded hands, and a woman in a white sari with a yellow border touching her forehead in prayer. A fifth person in an orange cloth stands at the right with folded hands. White pillars and a red-framed stand stand at the side. The scene reads as a shrine worship and puja at a tree-shaded temple site.
