A photograph of a religious procession climbing a wide red-painted stone staircase outdoors under a pale sky. At the centre, a man with long dark hair wears an orange saffron garment, a long red-and-white flower garland, and a gold necklace, walking barefoot beside a shaved-headed attendant in orange robes carrying a flower garland. A red and gold ceremonial umbrella is held above the group at left. Behind them, men in white dhotis with yellow shawls and red-marked foreheads, plus onlookers in casual clothes including children, watch or follow. One attendant in white with a red-striped shawl stands on the steps at right holding a ceremonial object. The man at centre's appearance matches the probable Swamiji description (long hair, saffron clothing, garland and gold necklace), though this is an appearance-based label only.
