A silver arched torana frames the deity. In front, a seated marble figure with folded hands wears a pink garment and flower garland. Two men face the shrine: on the left, a bare-backed person with long dark hair wears an orange saffron dhoti and shawl, hands joined in worship; on the right, a bald priest in a white dhoti and shawl with a gold border and yellow waistcloth holds a brass plate of flowers during puja. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha, bell-shaped vessels and rangoli-style floral decoration surround the shrine.2012-04-02A photograph inside a temple shrine. An elderly man with a shaved head, bare-chested, wears an orange-red dhoti with gold borders, a beaded rudraksha mala and gold armlets, and holds a small vessel while offering to a black deity murti dressed in white and orange cloth with a white jasmine garland and pink flowers. Gold ornate shrine arch surrounds it, with a brass oil lamp burning at right. A younger man in white dhoti with gold border stands with folded hands in a respectful pose. Appearance-based cues on the elder are insufficient to confirm identity, so the role is described as a priest performing puja.2012-05-13A photograph inside a temple shrine. A young man on the left wears an orange-saffron turban, orange robe and a yellow-and-green flower garland, hands folded in front of him with head bowed. On the right, an older bare-chested priest with a rudraksha-style bead necklace and a pale yellow dhoti stands with palms pressed together in prayer. In the centre is a deity murti with a face and mouth of carved stone, draped in yellow marigold garlands, red flowers and green leaves, with long white flower strands hanging above under a gilded arch and a brass umbrella. A brass oil lamp and a pink cloth-covered pedestal are in front. The scene shows worship at a shrine.A photograph inside a temple shrine. A devotee in orange-saffron cloth with a matching head covering stands beside a metal figure seated on an ornate pedestal, with garlands of white flowers and mixed-colour blossoms draped over it. Brass oil lamps stand on either side, and a blue-topped table holds fruit, offerings, a small brass pot and a tray. Wooden kindling is piled in front, and a seated person in dark clothes works at the left edge.A photograph inside a temple shrine with a black stone deity murti dressed in pink and green silk, silver crown, layered gold and jewelled necklaces, and garlands of red and white flowers.
