A bare-chested elder in orange cloth bends forward in worship. Beside him, a person in orange robes with a saffron head wrap and long dark hair bows with hands raised to the head, and a man in an orange upper cloth stands at the right holding a maroon bag, wearing a rudraksha mala. Two men in white dhoti and shirt stand at the left and centre-right with hands folded in reverence. Grey stone walls surround the scene, with a flower-decorated shrine and devotional offerings.2008-02-17A photograph inside a small dark stone shrine, where a black linga-form deity murti is garlanded with red, yellow and white flower garlands and set on a dark stone base with flower petals scattered below. Standing in front are five men: on the left a man in white shirt and white dhoti with gold wristwatch, next a bespectacled man in white, then a bearded elder in orange cloth with bare upper body and a long white beard, then a smiling man in a bright orange turban, orange wrap and long rudraksha mala, who is a probable Swamiji candidate by appearance, then a man in white shirt and dhoti on the right. At far right, a bare-chested man in orange cloth wears a rudraksha mala and holds a maroon bag. A red cloth covers a basket of offerings at the base. Appearance-based label: Swamiji (probable), standing beside the shrine.2008-02-17Inside a small stone shrine, a long-haired figure in an orange saffron robe and orange head covering bows low and touches a black stone linga decorated with garlands of orange and yellow flowers. Beside the linga, a pink cloth covers an offering basket. Around them stand men in white dhotis and shirts with folded hands, a bare-chested priest in orange cloth wearing a long white beard and a rudraksha mala, and another bare-chested attendant on the right holding a maroon bag and wearing a beaded mala. The walls are dark grey stone. The orange-robed figure's appearance is consistent with the page's reference to a person, so the bowing devotee is a person performing puja at the linga.2008-02-17A photograph inside a temple shrine with black stone walls. A man in an orange-red turban and bare upper body, wearing a long multicolour flower garland with orange and yellow blooms and a rudraksha bracelet, stands with palms pressed together in namaskar, smiling. Beside him, a man in a blue dhoti with a pink cloth at the waist holds his hands together. A third man with shaved head in orange-brown cloth stands at the left edge. Before them is a black stone deity murti wearing a white cloth, a white and yellow flower garland and a small orange-yellow flower, with a raised weapon in one hand. Another hand is visible at the right edge.2015-05-01A photograph inside a temple shrine at night. A dark-skinned deity murti, dressed in blue with a crown and heavily decorated with white jasmine and orange-red marigold garlands, sits on a black stone pedestal in front of a blue cloth backdrop. A priest in a white dhoti and a man in a white shirt with a pink-checked cloth stand at left, one performing puja near the murti. At right, two men in saffron-orange robes stand with hands in anjali mudra; the one in front wears an orange-red marigold garland and gold bangles and has long dark hair, while the bald man beside him is in orange robes. Brass vessels and flower offerings sit on the floor.2010-08-09A man in an orange saffron wrap over a red sleeveless top stands at a stone temple site, his right hand resting on the polished black stone leg of a large dark deity murti. His hair is swept back, and he has a red tilak on his forehead. Behind him, a man in an orange robe holds a small white object, and another man in white clothes with a pendant stands near the murti. The black stone statue dominates the right side of the frame, and the setting appears to be an unfinished temple interior with concrete and wooden planks. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair and saffron wrap; he is performing a respectful touch of the murti in the role of devotee.2007-11-07A temple shrine interior with grey granite walls. In the center, a figure in an orange turban and saffron-orange cloth with long dark hair stands with hands extended over a brass plate toward a deity murti decorated with a large garland of orange and white flowers. To the left, a black stone deity relief with a white and orange garland. Behind the murti hangs a dark blue curtain. Around them stand several devotees: a man in a beige jacket with folded hands on the left, a bare-chested man with a gold chain and folded hands, a person in white with long hair and an orange cloth at the front, and a man in an orange wrap standing near the entrance. Oil lamps sit on the steps.A photograph of a shrine entrance where a dark-stone deity murti is dressed in blue cloth and heavily garlanded with white jasmine and orange-red flowers, with a blue backdrop behind it. In the foreground a man in orange robes stands with palms pressed together in prayer, a flower garland around his neck, and a bald man in white on the left holds a brass lamp, with a brass pot and small lamps on the floor. Another person in an orange-and-red garland stands beside him with hands held out holding white flowers, and a bearded man is at the edge of the frame. Visible people are four or five, and the orange-robed figure's appearance is uncertain for the a person identification.2010-08-09December 20 20112011-12-20
