March 07 20162016-03-07October 18 20172017-10-18A photograph at an indoor ritual setting with a floral backdrop of red, yellow, purple and white garlands. A man in a white shirt bends forward and holds his hands over the head of a seated figure with long dark hair, wearing a brown-orange robe and layered garlands of white jasmine and red flowers, with gold bangles on the arm. Beside them a bald priest with a white tilak on his forehead, wearing an orange shawl and gold necklace, smiles. A brass lamp hangs at the top of the frame, and a bright yellow floral arrangement fills the right side. The seated figure's identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2013-07-22December 12 20162016-12-12July 22 20132013-07-22July 31 20152015-07-31A seated man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands at left with both arms raised, pressing a red-and-gold cloth onto the head of a smiling man at centre-right who is draped in thick garlands of yellow, white, red and purple flowers and a long red-and-white bead mala. Behind them is a gold throne with ornate carved backrest and a silver tray holding offerings. A woman in an orange sari with gold jewellery stands beside the throne, and a shaved-headed devotee is visible at lower right. Peacock feathers and marigolds decorate the scene, and a framed photograph of a tree hangs on the wall behind. This appears to be a ceremonial honouring with garlands and a cloth presentation.2013-01-06March 07 20162016-03-07A photograph inside a temple sanctum showing a man in a maroon-red turban and reddish-brown dhoti with a bare upper body, wearing gold armlets and a white flower garland, adorning a deity with a long chain of marigolds in yellow, orange and red along with green leaves. A helper in an orange-brown cloth stands at left holding a small brass vessel, and an oil lamp flame glows at right. Offerings and flower decorations fill the altar area.2016-12-14Photograph inside a temple sanctum of a deity murti decorated with multicoloured flower garlands and a golden canopy, with brass lamps on either side.
