A photograph of a decorated deity murti set in a golden arched backdrop, framed by red and yellow flower garlands and a crown-like ornament. Two lidded brass-and-wire pots with coconuts on top flank the central figure, which has a painted face and a jeweled crown. A blurred fire in the foreground suggests a homa or puja. Metal grilles cross the upper background, and a few blurred figures in red and white clothing stand behind the grille. No identifiable person is clearly in focus.

A photograph of a ritual fire with flames in the foreground beside a copper vessel with a long handle. Behind the fire, a deity murti or kalasha-like sacred object stands on a pink and red cloth, draped in a dense garland of purple flowers with yellow marigold strands and gold-toned ornaments. Yellow marigold garlands decorate a smaller object to the left, and a blue patterned cloth forms the backdrop. No people are visible.

Close view of a homa fire rising from a gilded fire pit on a brass platform. Garlands of white jasmine and red flowers hang over tall gold-tipped offering pots with yellow-tied kalasha-style tops. Behind them, a figure in orange-saffron cloth sits, mostly cropped out of frame. A small brass bowl with an ornate rim sits to the right, with brass lamps and ritual vessels at the edge.

A homa fire ritual in a tented shrine. A bare-chested priest with red rudraksha malas and an orange-yellow dhoti raises a lit oil lamp toward a fire pit lined with brick, with bright flames rising from it. Two seated assistants in white dhotis and shawls sit at left, and a standing attendant at right. Behind them stand a large deity murti draped in garlands and a silver-framed shrine containing a standing figure with a crown and garlands. Orange triangular banners with floral designs flank the altar, and a microphone stands near the priest.

A photograph of a ritual aarti being offered before a small gilded deity murti seated on a golden base, flanked by garlands of yellow marigolds and red roses. A hand holding a silver plate with a burning camphor flame extends in from the left, wearing a gold bangle and red and blue threads on the wrist; the wearer's white dhoti and blue cloth are visible at the edge. Behind the murti, a red cloth backdrop and a draped white figure are partly visible. Only the lower part of the arm and hand are seen, so no face is shown. The setting suggests a temple or ashram shrine during puja.

A decorated deity murti with a gold crown and silver-toned face is the central focus, framed by dense garlands of red roses, orange marigolds and white flowers draped on two large vessels or kalasha-like pots with blue and pink bodies. Green leaves are tucked among the garlands, and a silver bowl sits in front on a stack of yellow cloth-wrapped blocks. A lit oil lamp flame glows at lower left, with blurred brass and gold ritual items in the foreground and gold-painted ornamentation behind. No people are visible.
