Close overhead photo of a ritual offering being made on a red mat. A figure in an orange-red robe with gold border sits cross-legged at the top, one hand reaching toward a round polished metal plate holding green betel-type leaves and several Indian rupee banknotes. A second person in white clothing sits at the left edge, arm extended. A silver ornately carved tray and a large green banana leaf appear at right. Context suggests a pinda or dakshina offering, though only the plate, leaves and money are clearly visible.2016-08-02March 30 20162016-03-30March 30 20162016-03-30Close photograph of hands exchanging a stack of small white papers with red printed borders, resting on a folded orange-red cloth.
