Night-time outdoor fire ritual on bare ground: a large bonfire burns at the centre while a ring of seated participants in white and orange-saffron clothes sit around it. Standing figures in white dhotis and shawls stand on the left, and at right a person holds a tall pole topped by a red-and-white fringed canopy, with a figure in orange robes beside it. Floodlights and a tree sit in the background, and sandals lie on the ground at the edges. The setting suggests a homa or yagna around a fire pit; no one is identified by face, and the seated group is described by clothing and role only.
