Photograph of a stage ceremony at a Kumbh-style event with a silver-and-red shrine backdrop. A man in orange robes with long dark hair and a crown-like mark sits center, cross-legged, holding a red-covered item and a small book, with marigold garlands on silver trays before him. Beside him a bald elderly man in orange robes and an orange turban sits, and to the left an older bearded man in orange sits near a microphone. A blindfolded young woman in white with a red-and-white shawl and rudraksha mala is guided by a bare-chested man with white dhoti and gold border, with a woman in white and several young people in red and white stand nearby, one holding a booklet. A man in orange with a red-striped robe and rudraksha beads sits at the right. Silver ornate decorations and a deity figure appear in the background.2015-09-12July 06 20142014-07-06A photograph of an indoor blessing moment. A long-haired man with dark wavy hair and a white forehead mark, wearing an orange-saffron cloth draped over his shoulder and beaded necklaces, places his right hand on the forehead of a bald, older man in a white kurta with a wristwatch, rudraksha-style beaded mala and orange cord, whose eyes are closed and palms are raised in receptive gesture. Behind them a kneeling monk in orange robes bows his shaved head, and a man in the background watches. Pale walls, a doorway and a red curtain frame the room. This appears to be a blessing or darshan exchange.2012-10-09Seated devotional gathering on a striped floor mat during a ritual.
