A temple shrine interior at night with a fire pit lined with yellow bricks in the lower left, flames rising from it. A bald priest in white dhoti and white upper cloth with a gold border stands barefoot on an orange cloth, holding a lit lamp toward several shrines. Behind him a man in orange clothing stands at a microphone, holding a white sheet. Three shrines are decorated with garlands of red, pink, yellow and white flowers and green draped cloth; the central deity murti and seated figures are dressed in red and gold, and a deity in the upper right shrine has a golden crown. Brass lamps and offering plates sit on the floor, with scattered red petals and a banana plant behind.

A photograph of a temple-style ritual space with a visible fire pit in the foreground, where a flame burns on a brick hearth with offering bowls nearby. A woman in orange sari holds a lit oil lamp toward a row of decorated deity murti seated on ornate golden-arched pedestals, draped with marigold and rose garlands. Two men in orange and saffron robes with rudraksha-style beaded garlands stand at left holding offering trays. Banana leaves, orange fabric drapes and a red-and-white tented roof frame the space. A floor cloth and brass vessels are set on the ground. The page refers to a Tiruvannamalai ritual, but no event is legible in the image itself. Visible people: three.

Night-time temple ritual in a covered hall with a corrugated roof and banana leaves. Two people in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl stand at left; the one at centre, with bare upper body and a mala, holds a brass tray, while the other extends an arm toward the altar. Several deity murti are decorated with garlands of marigold and white flowers, a stone shrine arch frames the centre, and brass oil lamps stand on the floor. A small fire pit with flames glows in the lower left beside offering trays with fruit. A partial figure stands at the far right edge.

A stage at a temple-style hall with a red curtain backdrop. A seated man in orange and saffron robes and a red-orange turban sits cross-legged on a red cushioned silver-framed dais before a microphone stand. Behind him, a large golden throne-like seat is draped with garlands of yellow, red and white flowers and holds deity murti figures. On the left, a golden shrine arch holds a deity murti decorated with a garland; on the right, a gold-framed shrine holds another garlanded deity murti in a green cloth. A standing attendant in orange robes, bare-chested, raises a lamp toward the shrines. Gold-painted attendant statues flank the central throne.

A temple-style ritual hall with ornate gilded thrones and deity murtis draped in garlands and bright fabrics. Central on the altar sits a decorated deity murti flanked by two smaller figures, with colourful canopies above. In front, a man with a white beard wears an orange saffron robe with a rudraksha mala and stands with hands folded, beside a priest in red-orange dhoti and shawl with a yellow-beaded mala. Two attendants in white dhotis with garlands stand at left, and a figure in pink draped clothing sits on the right throne. Offerings of fruit, flowers, a kalasha and a brick-built homa or yagna arrangement sit on the floor, with marigold petals scattered across the tiles.

In the foreground, a man with his back to the camera wears an orange-red turban and an orange-red dhoti and shawl, standing before a small golden peetha and a brick-like arrangement of flowers, fruit plates and brass lamps on a white floor scattered with petals. Striped woven mats and a pink-draped throne frame the scene.

A temple shrine interior during an evening puja, with a standing priest in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl raising a lit lamp at left and a smoking fire pit at bottom left. Three ornate gilded-and-stone shrines are heavily decorated with red, orange and white garlands and banana leaves; the central shrine holds seated deity murti in orange and red garments, flanked by other murtis. Brass lamps and offerings of fruit and flowers sit on the floor, and an orange-and-blue mat is spread across the floor. Only the one standing priest is a physical person in view. a person is not clearly visible; the standing figure is a priest in orange clothing and the cues are not distinctive enough to attribute.
