A crowd of devotees gathers outdoors under a tree at a temple visit. In the centre, a man with long dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead wears a saffron-orange robe and stands with his hands at his sides, looking downward. Beside him, a younger man in a saffron robe wears a rudraksha mala and a white forehead mark. In the foreground, a man in a white shirt bends forward and holds a small metal vessel, while another man with his head lowered is blessed or receiving attention. Women in saris, one in pink and one in red, stand among the onlookers, and a parked car and white signboard are visible in the background.2009-01-07Night scene at an outdoor temple-like courtyard with string lights of red, green and white draped above. An elderly man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and ceremonial gold necklace sits on a wooden bench, hands folded, with a younger man in red-and-gold dhoti beside him wearing a gold pendant and beaded mala. Around them stand several young priests and attendants in red, saffron and white dhotis with white forehead tilaks, many with garlands and hands in anjali. A seated man in orange shawl and white dhoti sits at right, and a shaved-headed man in orange cloth sits on the floor in front.
