October 19 20062006-10-19Night-time photograph of a crowd gathered outdoors, mostly dressed in white and pastel saris, with many onlookers in the background. In the centre a bearded man in a plain white shirt, white dhoti with a red border, and wooden rudraksha-style beads around his neck holds a silver bowl with white flowers and a green leaf, while a woman in white reaches toward it with a hand offering. Nearby a young man in white with an orange shawl and another in white with an orange shawl stand close, a woman in a green sari holds fruit, and a woman in a pink sari and a man in white with beads stand to the right. A large bundle of white garlands sits beside the central figure. The man in the centre has no distinctive a person cues such as saffron robes, a crown or ornate gold necklaces, so identity is uncertain.2006-11-04February 11 20072007-02-11 +1 copiesFebruary 11 20072007-02-11 +1 copiesOctober 19 20062006-10-19October 19 20062006-10-19October 19 20062006-10-19Night photograph of a crowded procession at a temple, with string lights and illuminated arches behind the crowd.
