Close photograph of a carved stone temple frieze with three figures in relief within a horizontal panel. The left figure is a mounted rider or warrior with an animal beneath, the centre figure stands holding a staff or weapon with a shield-like form, and the right figure appears to grapple with a curling serpentine or coiled form. Carved floral scroll bands border the panel above and below, with weathered grey granite texture. No living people are visible; the figures are sculpted reliefs, and no identifiable person is depicted.

A rotated photograph of a pencil sketch on white paper held up by a hand at the upper left. The drawing shows a seated figure with long flowing hair and a shawl or wrap, a large halo or circular backdrop with spiky rays, and a raised arm or hand near a pillar-like frame at right. A cardboard box with a printed label sits at the lower left, and a date stamp 7 5 2006 appears at lower right. No readable names appear. The sketch depicts one figure and the photo shows one physical person, the hand holding the paper.

Close-up photograph of carved bas-relief on a grey sandstone wall, Angkor Wat style. Central figure is a dancing apsara with a tall crown and elaborate headdress, arms raised, with flowing scrolling foliage carved around her. To the right, another carved figure with a raised arm stands beside a stylized animal form, and the carving is worn and weathered. No physical people are visible; all figures are stone carvings.

A black-and-white line engraving of a four-armed deity murti standing between two pillars with hanging bells above, numbered 29 at the lower centre. The figure wears a tall crown, a large necklace and armbands, and holds a trident in one hand and a bowl in another. Beside the figure a small dog or deer-like animal stands on the left, and a small attendant figure on the right holds a bowl aloft. The image is a scan-style printed illustration, not a photograph of people.

A pencil sketch on white paper showing a seated figure on an ornate throne with a crown-like headdress, a turban, long hair, and a raised hand. Stars or dots surround the arch behind the figure, and a small motif sits at the top of the arch. The paper rests on a dark reddish-brown surface. The figure is a drawn depiction, not a physical person, and the sketch is the only subject in the frame.

Close view of a stone bas-relief carving on a temple wall at Angkor Wat, Cambodia. Carved figures in high crowns and jewellery ride on rearing mythical horses and lions beneath ornate flame-like arches and scrolling foliage. Stylised floral rosettes line the lower border. The figures are carvings, not living people, and no physical person is visible.
