The elder keeps his eyes closed and head bowed. Behind them a younger man in white and yellow-trimmed cloth stands near a cream pillar and a deep red curtain. The man with dreadlocks has a dark wrist mala. The setting appears to be an indoor hall during a blessing or darshan moment. The dreadlocked figure matches the presentation of a person, with long hair and a garland but no crown or saffron robes visible.2016-09-27April 07 20192019-04-07March 17 20132013-03-17A photograph inside a decorated hall with a white canopy and striped pillars. Behind them, several men in white dhotis and shirts stand with hands folded in prayer. A golden ceremonial object in the foreground, shaped like a fish or serpent head, sits beside the blessing figure, and a bandaged left forearm is visible. Behind them a man with long hair in a white dhoti with a rudraksha mala watches, a man in a white shirt stands at the back, and a woman in a white sari stands at right. Red and yellow flower garlands hang at the left edge, with a red curtain and a blue-and-white painted panel in the background.2013-09-29A photograph of a ritual blessing in a temple hall with arched cream walls and a yellow curtain behind. A bare-chested man in an orange-red cloth and a white jasmine garland, wearing rudraksha beads and a tilak with a red bindi, places his right hand on the head of a seated man in a white checked shirt. The blessed man has his eyes open and looks forward. The officiant holds a folded white paper in his left hand. Several other men stand around, some with hands raised in reverence. The officiant's appearance has some cues but is not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so he is described by role.2012-05-31
