April 27 20182018-04-27A photograph of a ritual in a hall with red curtains and a gilded throne shrine. A bearded man with long hair, wearing a pink-and-white flower garland, a gold necklace and a brown robe, sits on a leopard-skin cushioned seat in front of a golden canopy with lion figures. Below him, a man in an orange turban and a mala of beads, his chest marked with white paste, sits on a striped mat holding a bell and a plate of offerings. Two other men in orange cloth, one with long matted hair and one with a hand over his mouth, sit nearby; a brass trident and a pot with green leaves stand beside them, along with a brass lamp and a bronze female figure holding a lamp. Several more people in orange are visible in the background behind the curtain. The scene is consistent with a pattabhishekam ritual.2017-05-05A ceremonial wedding ritual in an indoor hall, with a seated figure on a richly decorated red and gold throne-like seat with garlanded arches, holding a staff and wearing a crown and orange-saffron clothing with rudraksha malas. Three attendants sit in front: a young man in saffron robes and an orange turban at left, a bare-chested priest in an orange dhoti with a rudraksha mala and folded hands at centre, and a young attendant in orange with a mala at right, with a brass pot and offerings nearby. To the right, a deity murti pair is dressed in green and pink silk, adorned with white and multicoloured flower garlands and gold ornaments on a pink-draped altar, with a white and green cloth and flowers on the floor at lower right.2015-04-30April 27 20182018-04-27November 02 20132013-11-02A seated man in a red-maroon dhoti and a long garland of white and pink flowers sits on an ornate silver throne decorated with red, yellow and purple flower garlands and a silver canopy. A mustard-yellow and marigold garland hangs above the backrest. To the left, several attendants in saffron-orange robes and orange headwraps stand with palms pressed together, and a woman in a green sari with a gold-trimmed border stands behind them. On the right, a large deity murti is adorned with multicoloured flower garlands and a red-and-white fabric backdrop. A maroon curtain frames the left edge of the hall. The seated man wears a golden necklace, a rudraksha-style mala and gold armlets, and has an ornamental red forehead mark. Chairs and a patterned rug are visible in the foreground.2018-04-27A photograph of a man seated on an ornate gilded throne with carved backrest and red cushions, under a gold canopy hung with white and marigold garlands. He wears saffron/orange robes, a gold crown with a peacock feather, a gold necklace, a rudraksha-style mala and a red tilak, with his hands pressed together in anjali and eyes closed. A gold trident stands at the left. Garlands of marigolds and roses decorate the throne and the pink-and-red arched backdrop. Three people in orange robes sit in the foreground with their heads bowed, one seen from behind. Swamiji (probable) appears to be the figure on the throne, based on the crown, saffron clothing, mala and gold necklace; his appearance is consistent with the page's note of his presence at this 2008 Jayanti event with padapuja and darshan.2008-01-01October 08 20162016-10-08January 01 20082008-01-01A seated man in an ornate white and red throne with carved silver arms sits centrally, palms pressed together in anjali greeting, wearing a long rust-orange robe, a white-and-pink flower garland and a large gold pendant necklace, with a red vibhuti or kumkum mark on his forehead. He is presumed to be Swamiji (probable), based on the long hair, saffron-orange ornate clothing and gold necklace cues. Around him seated devotees in orange and white clothes sit on a patterned mat, including a bald man in orange with rudraksha beads and several people with long braided or dreadlocked hair. A silver trident stands to the right in front of red draped curtains, with a video camera on a tripod and rows of chairs behind.2017-10-01April 22 20182018-04-22A photograph of a ritual in a temple-style hall.
