Gold lion and elephant figures flank the throne, and a white bowl sits before him. Behind him, two women in white hairnets and plastic gloves attend to items, one in a white and gold sari, while a red-and-gold canopy and red poles frame the stage. Seated devotees in white and saffron clothing fill the lower foreground. Nearby, a bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a pink head cloth sits on a striped mat beside a basket of offerings and brass vessels. Yellow marigold garlands and flower decorations surround the seat. Behind them a metal detector gate stands near a wall of signs prohibiting photography, video, mobile cameras and audio recording.
