A dense outdoor crowd of devotees gathers on a sunny street in front of a school-style building with a green facade and a sign reading a Tamil government middle school. Many women wear saris in yellow, orange, pink and green, some carrying flower garlands and brass pots. A bare-chested man with a rudraksha mala stands in the foreground, and men in white shirts stand among the crowd. Posters on the wall to the right show a portrait of a saffron-robed figure and Tamil text. Several people have folded hands in reverence.

A large outdoor crowd of devotees sits densely packed on a street in front of a white two-storey building with green shutters and a balcony. Many people sit with palms pressed together in anjali, facing a direction off-frame toward a speaker. Women wear cotton saris in red, yellow, blue and pink, and several children are visible in the crowd. Men wear white shirts and white dhotis. Orange saffron flags on poles stand along the street, and a thatched shelter with a few people is at the upper right. A person in a white shirt at the lower right raises a hand toward the group.

A dense outdoor crowd lines a tree-shaded street during a procession in Pondicherry. Many people in white shirts and dhotis, saris in bright colours, and some in teal and pink clothing press forward. Several women hold brass plates or trays with flower garlands and offerings. Men in front wear white and carry drums with decorated drum heads. A boy in a striped shirt stands in the lower right. A small framed portrait with a banner hangs on a wall at the top centre, but no figure can be identified as a person in this image. Lush green leaves frame the upper right corner.

A dense outdoor crowd of devotees gathers in front of a colourfully decorated temple gopuram with a painted deity figure, while banana leaves and strings of green leaves hang overhead. Many women in sarees in yellow, blue, purple and white stand with palms pressed together in prayer, some with vibhuti or kumkum on their foreheads. Men in white shirts and dhotis move among them, and a few hold flowers. Smoke rises from a fire in the background among trees. No single person is clearly identifiable as a person in this crowd.

A large crowd of women fills an open-sided tented pavilion, many seated on the ground in white and pastel saris. Many wear white or cream saris with lanyard badges, while others wear yellow, teal, pink, purple and maroon. Some have hands raised or pressed together in devotion, and several stand or bend among the seated rows. Chairs are stacked along the side, a black speaker box stands on a stand at left, and green trees and a white boundary wall are visible beyond the canopy. No single central figure is clearly identifiable, so no a person candidate is visible.

Outdoor street crowd in a busy Indian town during a procession, viewed from above. Dense rows of devotees, mostly women in sarees in purple, pink, orange, yellow, white and green, stand with palms pressed together in namaskar. Some carry small children on their hips. Men in white shirts and dhotis and a man in a pink shirt stand among them. Parked white and red cars, motorbikes and a yellow-roofed roadside stall line the road behind. Shop signs and an overhead car roof fill the background.

A large crowd of villagers stands in front of a grey temple-style building with a colourful painted roofline and green signboards on its wall. Women in saris, many in yellow, peach, orange and pink, and children in school uniforms and everyday clothes stand close together with hands folded in a respectful gesture. Several older men in white shirts and dhotis stand toward the back near the entrance. The scene looks like a community gathering at a newly opened centre.

A dense outdoor crowd gathers beneath a white cloth canopy and a red decorated umbrella, with white flags and a colourful striped awning overhead. Near the centre, a bald man in a saffron-orange garment with a red-and-white cloth and a red-beaded necklace stands among the people, and a shaven-headed man in white dhoti with a sacred thread stands at the left edge. Many devotees in white shirts and dhotis, women in saris and flowers in their hair, and cameramen with equipment press close. A red-and-white floral wreath hangs on the canopy and rose petals lie on the cloth. The crowd fills the frame, with a parked white vehicle and a street visible behind.

A dense outdoor crowd of devotees fills the frame, mostly women in white and cream saris and salwar kameez, with some in bright yellow, green, teal and red garments. Many sit on rows of plastic chairs behind wooden barrier rails, while others stand and walk between them. A few men wear white shirts and lanyards. A red bus is visible at the top left. The scene suggests a large public discourse gathering, though no speaker or stage is visible in this view.
