A photograph of a large floor rangoli made of flower petals laid on dry grass. The design is a symmetrical pattern of bands in marigold orange, yellow, red, white and green, with a central panel framed by a dome-like arch and a lotus-like motif in red and white. A blue plastic bag sits at the upper left, and a person in a light shirt kneels at the upper right, partly visible, working on the design. No ritual figures or deities are shown.2015-07-07October 01 20112011-10-01December 31 20182018-12-31 +2 copiesDecember 31 20112011-12-31A large floral rangoli-style design laid out on grass, made of rows of marigold-like orange and yellow blossoms, dark green leaves, white petals and red roses in bands. The garland has bands of purple, yellow, green and red flowers with white roses and a gold clasp-like ornament. Her hair is pulled back and she is in a reverent posture. Behind her a blue cloth drapes over the seat and a red and white structure is faintly visible in the background.2011-12-17December 12 20162016-12-12November 11 20142014-11-11Close-up photograph of a tall column wrapped in a dense garland of yellow flower clusters, each cluster bound with orange thread and centred on a green woven disc with a small white star-shaped motif. The blurred background is brown and warm. No people are visible in the frame, and the garland appears to be a ceremonial decoration hung on a pillar or pole.2018-05-24
