Night-time food service at an open-air ashram setting. A woman in a white sari with an orange border and orange shawl stands at a wooden table ladling food from a steel pot into a steel plate. Beside her, a woman in beige and orange serves from another pot, and young women in orange, white and green saris stand in a line holding steel plates of yellow rice and fried items. A man in white dhoti and shirt stands at the left edge. Steel pots of cooked vegetables sit on the table. The background is dark.

A photograph of a lunch serving line under a covered open-sided pavilion with an orange canopy and woven bamboo screens. Several young women in white tops with orange or beige sashes and dark-rimmed lanyards queue and receive food from steel plates, while a man in a white shirt and rudraksha mala in the right foreground serves from steel pots. Other volunteers in white shirts stand behind the counter, and a few more people line up in the background. Plates hold rice and yellow dal-style dishes. The atmosphere is a communal meal service at the Inner Healing training program.

A serving line inside a metal-roofed, open-sided shed with red-painted struts, where volunteers in white hairnets serve food from steel chafing trays. A bare-chested man with a rudraksha-style necklace and gold bangle wears a white dhoti with a gold border and spoons rice from a tray. Other servers in white dhotis and hairnets work along the counter, which holds rice, yellow dal-like curry and brown gravy. A woman with glasses at left and a man in a yellow shirt at lower right handle food, while a man in white dhoti stands at right. Scattered tarpaulins sit at the left edge.
