A photograph of a temple corridor at night, with stone pillars and hanging lamps overhead. At centre, a man in a saffron-orange robe and a large garland of yellow and red flowers walks forward, with a gold pendant necklace and a tilak mark on his forehead; he has shorter hair and is not shown with the long swept-back hair or crown of the typical depiction. He is flanked by devotees in orange shawls and white dhotis and shirts, one carrying an orange cloth, and a man in a white shirt and dhoti with a white forehead mark stands at the right edge. Several other people in white and orange follow behind in the crowded procession. Given the uncertain appearance, the central figure is treated as a devotee in a procession rather than a confirmed identification.

Photograph of a group walking across a bare concrete courtyard beside a pale wall with a faded blue-grey base. A central figure in an orange saffron robe and orange head wrap wears a long white jasmine garland and a rudraksha mala, and walks barefoot. Around him, men in white shirts and white dhotis walk alongside; one holds a red and white banner with an emblem. On the right, a man in white dhoti and shirt wears an orange shawl and a rudraksha mala and gestures toward the group. A small temple shrine with colourful decoration is visible at upper left.

Photograph of a procession inside a temple hall. A central figure with long dark swept-back hair, a white tripundra on the forehead, a heavy gold bead necklace and gold bangles, wearing an orange-saffron shawl and orange dhoti, walks forward smiling. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklace and saffron clothing. Around him, orange-robed sannyasis with white tripundra markings and rudraksha malas carry a silver kalasha with red flowers and a long white flower garland with red and yellow accents. A shaved-headed man in white dhoti and shawl holds a tall wooden staff on the left, and a man in white on the far right edge is partly visible. Several devotees stand behind in white and orange clothing.

A photograph of a group walking outdoors along a plain concrete path beside a pale wall and a small shrine niche with a painted deity image and a framed picture. In the centre, a man in an orange saffron robe and orange turban wears a long white flower garland and rudraksha beads, smiling as he walks. Around him, men in white dhotis and shirts, several with orange shawls or rudraksha malas and one carrying a bundle, walk in attendance. A man in a striped shirt stands at the right edge, and a tilak-marked man in white with a rudraksha mala walks at the left foreground. The setting resembles a temple or ashram courtyard.

Photograph of a procession walking along a red carpet through a stone temple doorway with ornate painted gopuram-style carvings above. In the foreground a bald man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl wears a long beaded garland and a blue object in his hand. Beside him a man in white shirt and white dhoti with gold border wears a rudraksha mala and a red tilak mark. Behind them, men in orange robes and garlands walk, and men in white shirts and white dhotis stand to the left and right. A man in white with a rudraksha mala is at the right edge. The person in saffron with the long beaded garland has no clearly distinctive presentation cues beyond saffron clothing, so the identity remains uncertain.

Night-time outdoor temple ritual at a Tamil Nadu-style festival site. A bald man in a saffron-orange robe with a long orange shawl and a gold necklace walks barefoot across a raised path, holding a tall bamboo staff, while men in white dhotis and shirts escort him. A man in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala raises his arm at right, and a metal kalasha-style vessel is carried near the centre. Behind a wooden railing, devotees in white and dark clothes stand watching, one with palms pressed together in namaskar. A colourful painted banner with a white bird emblem and a flower motif stands behind the procession, with bananas and palm fronds around.

Photograph taken at night inside a temple corridor with stone pillars and fluorescent lights. A central figure in saffron-orange robes wears a long multicolour flower garland with yellow marigolds and a gold-chain necklace, with a white tilak on the forehead. Around him, men in white dhotis and shirts and others in orange shawls and saffron robes walk closely together, with a crowd visible behind. One man in white shirt and dhoti on the left wears a badge and an orange shawl. Scattered devotees and staff fill the background.

Photograph of a group walking through a doorway in a plain interior. A long-haired man in a saffron-orange robe with a rudraksha mala and red markings on his chest, smiling and gesturing with his hand, is at centre. Beside him a man in white shirt and dhoti walks in the foreground. Behind them men in white dhotis and shirts, one wearing an orange shawl, follow, and a man at left holds a garland of yellow and pink flowers. A woven mat lies on the floor at bottom, and a printed notice is pinned to the wall at right. Swamiji (probable) is the long-haired man in the orange robe, identified by his long swept-back hair, saffron robe and rudraksha mala; he is in person.
