A photograph of a rural dirt-path procession at dawn or dusk, with tall trees and dry grass lining the path. Under a colourful striped and embroidered canopy with pennant fringe, a central figure in an orange and yellow cloth and a flower garland walks forward, surrounded by men in white dhotis and white shirts. Several men carry long blue poles supporting the canopy, and others hold saffron-orange flags on the sides. A man in white plays a large drum. Behind, more people in white and some in blue shirts follow along the path.

A film photograph of a procession on a dirt road at dusk. Men in white dhotis and kurtas carry a colourful decorated canopy on blue poles, its panel showing painted animals and a kalasha, with red, orange and black tassels hanging below. Behind them, a man in a white dhoti and orange sash plays a dhol drum, and another carries a long horn-like instrument. Orange flags are carried in the crowd, and ornate umbrellas rise further back. A blue-and-white striped tent wall runs along the right. Nearly everyone wears white ceremonial clothes, with orange and saffron accents. No identifiable central figure is clearly visible in the frame.

A dusty dirt road at sunrise or sunset, with a hazy sky and a sun low on the horizon, shows a long procession of men in white clothes walking away from the camera. Several carry orange and saffron flags on poles, and a decorated banner with bunting hangs on a frame near the front. A figure in a yellow-orange shawl walks among the group, and a man in a dark suit and trousers walks in front, separate from the marchers. Cars, a truck and a van are parked on the right beside striped tents and a small canopy. A wooden pole and a blue signboard stand on the left edge.

A long procession of white-clad devotees walks along a dusty unpaved dirt road under a pale sky with trees behind. Two decorative parasols with red, yellow and multicoloured fringed canopies are carried aloft at the centre. Many men carry tall saffron-orange flags on poles. At right, a man in white with an orange-bordered dhoti plays a large handheld drum, and another person beside him plays a horn. Several men wear rudraksha-style neck garlands. The crowd stretches back into the distance, with more participants visible behind the front group.

A dirt road procession moves through a dry, tree-lined landscape under a pale blue sky. In the foreground, several men in white dhotis and shirts play large drums, one carrying a pink-and-gold drum and another a brown drum, while a man at left plays a small cymbal or hand drum. Behind them a long line of people, including women in saris and children, walks beside colourful umbrella-shaped canopies or ornate ceremonial umbrellas in orange, red and yellow. Vans and cars are parked at the roadside.

A village procession on a dirt road under a grey sky, with many devotees walking in white dhotis and kurtas, several women in white saris, and men in brown shirts playing large drums on the right. Devotees carry orange flags, ornate orange and gold-fringed standards, and tall poles with decorated finials. Behind them are a purple-and-red canopy and a white flag with a blue emblem. Trees line the roadside. The scene reads as a temple procession with drummers and banner-bearers; no clearly identifiable figure of a person is visible in the foreground crowd.

A dusty unpaved dirt road runs through dry scrubland toward a procession in the distance. Several people dressed in white clothing walk along the path near a decorated canopy or float with red flags and colourful hangings. Other white-clad people stand further off to the right among flowering pink-blossomed trees. Bushes and tall thin trees frame the road under a hazy sky.

A photograph of a procession on a dirt road through dry grassland under an overcast sky. Many men in white dhotis and shirts walk in a long line. In the foreground a man in a white shirt and orange dhoti with an orange shawl and a tilak on his forehead plays a small hand instrument, while beside him a man in a green shirt beats a double-headed drum. On the right a man in white plays a long wind instrument and another carries a drum. Behind them a canopy in red, orange and green fabric with orange flags is carried on poles, and a palanquin-style canopy is visible. Several people in white and yellow walk behind.
