A brass naivedyam offering set on a leopard-print cloth in a temple shrine. A large ornate gold-coloured brass vessel with a raised base stands at centre, lit by a warm light above. In the foreground a silver thali holds small steel bowls of colourful foods including rice, orange and red curries, sweets, and cut fruit. At left, a hand in a gold bangle holds a brass handbell, and a person in a colourful patterned garment is partly visible. Shelves behind hold deity murtis and ritual objects, and white flowers appear at upper right. The scene reads as a food offering during puja.

A seated priest with a shaved head and bare upper body wears a white dhoti and a rudraksha mala, his hands pressed together in front of an ornate brass puja stand. The brass bowl on top holds pink flowers, a small brass vessel and a kalasha-like container. A silver thali in front holds rice, lentil dishes, vegetable curries and bowls of food, a naivedyam offering. A brass dish with a pink flower, a brass cup and a wooden box sit on a leopard-print cloth. A flat-screen television and glass cabinets with small framed photographs stand behind. The scene shows a home shrine puja with food offering.

A silver tray of food offerings is arranged on a leopard-print floor in front of an ornate gold-coloured palanquin-style base or peetha. Small stainless steel bowls hold orange carrot-like pieces, white rice, yellow rice, green vegetable preparations, brown lentils and bright green vegetables, with silver spoons and a small pot nearby. A person's hands, wearing a gold bangle, are visible at the upper left near a gold-coloured plate and a brass lamp.

A brass or gold-plated ornate pedestal stands on a patterned dark cloth before a shrine with carved panels and small deity figures. On top sits a large golden bowl holding a cone-shaped object decorated with flowers and two small golden cobra-like forms, with a silver cup beside. In the foreground a round silver thali tray holds small steel bowls of cooked white rice, dal, vegetable curries and chutney, offered as naivedyam. No people are visible in the image.

A close photo of a shrine offering in a temple room. A gold-finished ornate peetha or pedestal with a gold kalasha-like vessel and pink flowers sits centre frame, with carved gold ornamentation. In the foreground a person in an orange-red garment and beaded red bracelets holds a small brass vessel over the offering. A silver thali holds naivedyam: a whole mango, rice, vegetable curries, beetroot-coloured dish, pickles and sliced vegetables in steel bowls. Leopard-print fabric covers the floor and the background shelves display deity figurines.

Overhead photo of steel thali plates set on a dark wooden table. The large central thali is divided into many small bowls holding curries, pickles, vegetables and rice, with a small cup in the middle. Two smaller steel plates at the left and top hold yellow rice and other dishes with steel tumblers beside them. Orange carrot slices and a lemon wedge garnish the plates. No people are visible, and the food is served as a vegetarian meal.
