Painted life-size statues line the foreground: figures with monkey-like faces in red, blue, and green dhotis and jewelled belts, some holding staffs or bows, appearing to face the shrine in devotion. Ornate carved corbels with lion-like heads frame the arch. No living people are visible; the figures in the foreground are statues. The scene resembles a diorama of a Ramayana-themed sculpture gallery.2018-04-29A painted temple niche sculpture of a seated deity pair in a blue sky-patterned arch. The male figure has a light brown complexion, a tall crown, a rudraksha-style necklace, golden armlets and bracelets, and a yellow dhoti; he raises one hand in abhaya gesture and holds a small staff-like object. The female figure has green skin, an orange-gold sari, a crown, gold jewellery and a mirror-like object in her raised hand, seated at his side. Ornate multicolour borders frame the niche. This is a deity murti, not a person.2013-09-26 +1 copiesAugust 09 20102010-08-09May 29 20122012-05-29 +1 copiesMay 30 20122012-05-30August 09 20102010-08-09September 26 20132013-09-26
