Many wear white or cream saris with gold borders, along with bright red, orange, yellow, green, pink and blue saris. Several have flowers pinned in their braided hair, and a few older women have grey hair in buns. Ceiling lights and a large banner with a painted image hang over the stage area, and a television screen is mounted on the left wall. Some people stand near the aisles and in the background, and a few men in white clothing move near the stage.2010-02-15A photograph of a large seated audience filling a hall, many rows deep, with women in white and cream saris and dhotis-style white clothing, plus some in pink, purple, maroon and green. Many have hair in braids and wear lanyard ID badges. Behind them hang orange and saffron cloths from a rack at the right, and decorative pennants hang from the ceiling. The crowd is attentive, facing forward toward an unseen speaker. No single figure is clearly identifiable as a person in this view.
