A figure seated on a crimson and gold cushioned seat under a fringed multicolour canopy hung with purple, yellow and white garlands raises one hand in greeting; he wears an ornate gold crown, a gold necklace and a pink floral garland. Beside the chariot a shaved-headed priest in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with a rudraksha mala and a silver trident-topped staff walks alongside, with white tilak marks on his body. Ornate golden poles and garlands frame the scene, and a few blurred heads are in the foreground.2015-02-17 +1 copiesDecember 16 20162016-12-16Night procession with a gilded palanquin-style chariot draped in pink, purple and white flower garlands and fringed with colourful tassels.
