Photo taken from the back of a large seated audience facing a stage at a Nithyanandapedia event hall. On a raised golden throne at centre, a man in orange robes with a red turban and red-and-white flower garlands sits; the page notes a person at this event, and his appearance shows some ceremonial cues but a turban and garlands alone are not enough to confirm, so his role is described as a seated figure on a throne. Flanking him are several saffron-robed sannyasis, some with white beards, seated on the stage. A camera on a tripod films the stage, and audience members in white and orange-shawled clothing, many with long hair, fill the front rows.
