A photograph of a devotee outdoors carrying a young child across a shallow rectangular pit filled with dark glowing embers and water, as part of a fire-walking style ritual. Several people in white and cream clothes guide them: a woman in a light grey-blue top and white dhoti-style skirt reaches to steady them, a man in a white dhoti with gold border stands at the pit's edge holding a ritual item, and a man in white shirt and cream dhoti beside him holds a drum. Behind the pit, a large crowd of devotees in white, cream and yellow saris and dhotis stands behind a rope barrier beneath white tents and palm trees.
