Indoor photo of a ritual scene in a plain whitewashed hall. In the foreground, a young man in a white kurta wears an orange shawl over his shoulders and holds a small metal object in his right hand. Behind him, two more men in white kurtas with orange shawls stand in profile, one adjusting metal ritual vessels on a white-draped surface. On the left, a woman in a red sari with beaded necklaces sits, and other seated women in white are partly visible at the lower edge. On the right, a seated man in white with an orange shawl and a rudraksha-style necklace watches. A painted floral panel is visible on the upper left wall. No candidate for a person is clearly identifiable.2007-08-09December 04 2006 - Karthikai Deepam, Tiruvannamalai2006-12-04August 09 20072007-08-09April 23 20162016-04-23December 18 20102010-12-18October 13 20072007-10-13October 13 20072007-10-13October 15 20072007-10-15May 20 20162016-05-20October 08 20062006-10-08A photograph of young men in a room, seen in profile from the side. In the foreground a man with dark curly hair wears a white kurta and an orange shawl around his shoulders, one arm raised high. Behind him two more men in white clothes and orange shawls raise their arms in the same way, one with a white tilak on his forehead. A painted panel with a red, yellow and blue floral pattern hangs on the wall behind them. Their gesture suggests a group chanting or an upward-facing act in a devotional or satsang setting.2007-08-09March 02 20132013-03-02
