A photograph of a golden throne with an ornate arched backrest topped by a gilded five-headed cobra hood, set against red drapes with yellow cloth ties. A large printed cutout of a smiling bearded man in a rust-coloured turban and saffron-toned robes, adorned with rudraksha and flower garlands, is placed on the throne; it is a cardboard figure rather than a physical person. Silver tridents stand on either side, with gilded lion-like figures at the foot and a yellow and white marigold garland on the tray. The caption reads Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Devalayam, Adi KAILASA, Navaratri 2021 Day 1, Vishesha Dravya Homa and Chandi Homa Purnahuti. Because the figure is a printed depiction, the appearance-based label is a person.2021-10-07October 07 20212021-10-07October 11 20212021-10-11November 04 20212021-11-04October 09 20212021-10-09April 16 20172017-04-16A temple ritual photograph at Nithyanandeshwara Paramashiva Devalayam, Adi KAILASA, during Navaratri 2021 Day 6 Purnahuti Homa. In the foreground a bearded man with long hair, bare-chested, wearing an orange cloth, rudraksha mala and gold chain, holds a silver tray with a blue cloth bundle wrapped in yellow marigold garlands. Behind him a large ornate gold throne-backed seat holds a painted portrait of a smiling figure in a saffron turban, garlanded with marigolds and red flowers, with a rudraksha mala. Red cushions, red flower petals, a brass oil lamp and gold canopy with leaf pendants surround the scene, with a red-and-blue draped textile on the right.2021-10-12A photograph of a Vishesha Dravya Homa at the Nithyananda Paramashivam Devalayam, Adi KAILASA. A man with a long beard, a horizontal white tilak and a vibhuti-marked forehead sits at right, bare-chested under a saffron-orange shawl, wearing layered rudraksha malas and a ceremonial gold necklace, holding a brass plate. Beside him stands a deity murti in a purple turban, garlanded with red roses, white and yellow flowers. Golden lion-shaped pedestals and an ornate gilded throne-like backdrop surround them, with a flower-decorated red and yellow canopy at right. Probable Swamiji by appearance cues: long hair, saffron shawl, rudraksha malas and gold necklace, shown in a seated ritual role.2021-10-09November 17 20132013-11-17November 02 20132013-11-02November 02 20132013-11-02 +1 copiesNovember 17 20132013-11-17
