A stage performance in front of an ornate gilded wooden backdrop with carved scrollwork, elephant reliefs and lattice panels, on a red stage floor. Three dancers perform a dance drama: a woman in a red and pink blouse with white pants and a white flower in her hair kneels on one knee with her hand raised; a woman in a purple and gold sari with a headpiece and red flower stands in the centre with hands folded in namaskar; a man in a black top, white dhoti and red-and-gold sash stands at right with palms pressed together. No a person candidate is visible.

A woman in a red blouse with white dhoti-style trousers and gold jewellery, hair in a bun with a white flower, kneels on the red stage floor looking up. A man in a black long-sleeved top with a red and gold waist cloth and white dhoti stands beside her, pointing toward the doorway. A third performer in purple and violet clothing is partly visible behind, and scattered petals cover the red carpet.
