A long-haired man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala gestures with one hand while speaking. Around him, devotees in orange, peach and red saffron cloth, and people in white kurtas and dhotis listen closely. A woman in an orange sari with a red-orange head covering stands near the center, and an elderly man with white hair wears an orange shawl. Several people wear rudraksha malas. The long-haired man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala is the most prominent figure and may be a person, with appearance cues including long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha beads, though this remains uncertain.2009-12-30August 03 20082008-08-03Outdoor photo on a dirt path beside a red-washed building, with leafy green branches overhead. A cluster of about fifteen men and a few women in saffron and orange robes stand in conversation. In the centre, a bald man in a plain white dhoti and shawl stands with his hands together. A bearded man in a rust-coloured wrap and a man in a teal turban stand nearby, and a woman in a long-haired orange robe with a sash faces the group at right. Compared with the other figures, the bald man in white stands out as the person a few sources would associate with the event, but his appearance does not clearly establish that, so this is left unsure. Sandals, a walking staff and a rudraksha-style bead necklace are visible among the group.2009-12-30A photograph of a courtyard beside a white-washed wall where several women and men stand in a line. In the foreground a woman in an orange sari-style top and long orange skirt stands with palms pressed together in greeting, smiling, facing a tall person with long dark wavy hair in a sleeveless orange top and orange cloth, also with hands joined. Behind them, a man in white dhoti and shirt wears a yellow shawl, and other people in white and yellow clothing stand nearby. A woman in a white and gold sari sits at left beside brass items. At right a garland of yellow and white flowers hangs on a doorway, and a red painted border runs along the wall. The scene is a greeting or reception of devotees.2009-12-30December 07 20072007-12-07December 07 20072007-12-07A photograph of an outdoor event on concrete steps in front of a dark wooden door. In the centre, a long-haired man in a saffron-orange wrap with a red bindi stands still while others around him move. Behind him, a young man in white dhoti and orange shawl walks barefoot holding a wooden staff and a pink-covered book, and women in white saris with orange shawls hold notebooks. On the left, a bald older man in white kurta stands near a man in white bending low at the feet of the figures on the steps. A video camera on a tripod is operated by a man in orange, and a noticeboard with framed photos hangs on the wall. Several people in white and orange are visible in the crowd.2006-09-16
