Photo of a ceremonial bhoomi pooja at the Kanchipuram ashram inauguration under a canopy with red and gold trim. A figure in an orange turban, orange robe and draped orange shawl wears a large garland of white flowers, red blooms and green leaves, and stands with hands joined in a respectful gesture before a white-draped seat. A banner reads Dhyanapeetam Kanchipuram Ashram Bhoomi Pooja with the date 24.11.2006. Nearby a bare-chested man in a cream shawl and white dhoti bends forward, and another man in white with an orange shawl and rudraksha mala stands behind. Colourful striped mats cover the floor.
