A woman in a white sari with an orange-and-gold border waves a white feather fan toward a home shrine on a wall shelf. The shrine is draped with a red brocade cloth and holds a framed portrait of a bearded, saffron-robed man with rudraksha beads and a garland, set among marigold garlands, flowers, a brass oil lamp and small brass vessels. A second framed portrait of an older man in a white turban with a garland sits to the right. Beside the shrine is a small wooden table, and a window with iron grilles is behind it. The setting appears to be a devotional puja room.
