A photograph of a man seated on a red cushioned chair on a stage, in front of a large printed backdrop of a massive banyan tree with hanging aerial roots and dense green foliage. He wears a red sleeveless vest over a gold necklace, a leopard-print waist sash, and a red-orange dhoti, and holds a wooden staff with a carved top in his right hand while raising his left hand in a blessing gesture. A small wooden table beside him holds a red cloth and offerings. The page-described context is a Mahasadashivoham session, but the visible frame shows one seated figure, a staff, a blessing gesture and the banyan backdrop. Appearance cues are long swept-back hair, ornate gold chains and saffron-red robes, consistent with a probable Swamiji candidate in person.
