A large old banyan tree dominates the photograph, its wide spreading branches and many hanging aerial roots forming a dense canopy over a raised earthen base. Multiple thick trunks and prop roots grow down into the ground, and a few faded red and orange cloths are tied among the roots near the base. Low red brick edging borders the sandy ground in the foreground, and bright green leaves filter the light. No people are visible.
