Night procession on a dirt road with about two dozen devotees in orange and maroon robes, many with bare upper bodies, sandalwood or ash markings on foreheads and arms, and rudraksha malas. At centre a man in a maroon dhoti and maroon head-cloth wears a heavy gold necklace and a long white-and-red flower garland, walking under a silver umbrella. Around him, attendants carry a silver bowl and tray, a flaming oil lamp, ornate yellow-and-red ceremonial banners on poles, and a trident. This looks like a torchlit ritual procession, possibly a Karthigai Deepam-style event.
